Does anyone else see a tiny 1mm gap on either the left side of their glass on screen between rubber or the right side?

This is not a defect, just apples parts not exactly cut 100%.

Mine is on left side, not very noticeable but if you look up close on the a good angle you'll see a small gap between rubber and glass that's not on the right side.

You're looking at it wrong.

:D

In all seriousness does anyone else see the tiny gap when looking at the screen very closely (gap is between rubber and glass)

Just checked Apple Store, you guys are not looking

It's small, again it's not a defect. You have to look up close on sides

Or brain? OCD, anyone?

I'm totally OCD and I don't even see what he's talking about. I think one man's issue is another man's understanding of how technology and manufacturing works. LOL

I think that word does not mean what you think it means.

OCD no, Anal Retentive maybe.

Both can apply. OCD in the sense of obsessed with the pursuit of perfection, even if unrealistic. ;-)

It's not a defect, all of them have it.

Nope. I don't see anything on mine.

No gap present on my rMB.

How about posting a picture to illustrate exactly what you're describing. It seems you are not believing the other members who are stating they don't have it. Given the lack of other complaints here and elsewhere, I highly doubt its an issue affecting every unit.

The gap is there - it's not noticeable because it's normal.

It's just a little space between the rubber and the glass - usually on one side of the screen.

It's not that big so you have to look very closely to notice. It runs along the whole side of the screen on left or right.

post a picture of the gap so we all what you are talking about !!

It's hard to get a good picture of.

Just look along the left or right side of your screen very closely.

You will see a small small gap between the rubber and glass on one of the sides, not both.

don't understand the rubber is fitted in a recess area on the glass side. Maybe you mean a small gap between the keyboard and the rubber ? Draw a sketch of what you mean ?
