Some have large gaps: Panic! At The Disco's "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out." Some have barely audible gaps: Mae's "The Everglow." Either way, it's making me very angry. Both were encoded with iTunes 6 (I didn't do the encoding), so my question is... would the way these gapless albums were ripped in the old iTunes or another program affect whether or not they play gapless in iTunes 7? What would make them still have those gaps?

Daniel.

I noticed one of my albums had slight gaps even when all songs were marked gapless as well. I reimported the album and it seems to play seamlessly. ;)

Give that a go and see if it works. The thing that confuses me is I have other albums imported way back when I first started using iTunes that play gapless without fail.

It seems like my computer did a automatic 'gapless playback' on many of my albums. Is there a manual way to do this? Where do you see that someting is set as 'gapless'?
