Hi! I'm about to buy an iPhone, but if there's one thing that's holding me back it's uncertainty about the music player, specifically how it does at gapless playback. I've read that it's supposed to support gapless, but there's nothing official from Apple to read about it, and I've read several posts on different forums (including this one) where people say it's not solid. I listen to a lot of stuff where (for me) gapless is a must. So, can anyone tell me if it works, and for which formats it works. Does it only work for CD's ripped to AAC format within iTunes, or does the player support e.g. the LAME tags for gapless? Right now I have all my portable songs in Ogg format, so I'll have to re-encode them and want to know which format to use.

Cheers

/ Mats
