Hi,

Have been using my MBP for a month now. I was going to clean my MBP last night and notice there is a small gap on the left side of the display. Is this normal? My old MBP and my wife's MB does not have a gap. Those laptops are all perfectly fine.

I have attached 2 pictures. You can see there are a lot of dust inside the gap. However, the right side seems to be find. I can slice a thin business card into the gap.

:( Is this normal? I did not expect this from a $4000 laptop.

I reported this back in October on this forum. Nothing has changed. I am back on my 2014 MacBook Pro anyway for different reasons.

Did you try apple G bar? Or you just ignore it?

I sent it back after a week for a refund. Keyboard, Batterylife and the Touchbar were creeping me out. Was a 3,300$ machine which did not satisfy me at all, which is crazy. But those issues are rolled out in several threads all over the forum.

I see man.

Thank you for your feedback. I will make an apportionment with G bar. Hope they can fix it for me.
