:eek::eek:

So I installed iLife '08 and everything works except Garage band,
It was on my macbook (look in sig for specs) so it should work and everything.

When I open it up it has the "initializing" window, and it stays up for a minute or so until the whole application just crashes.

I tried to rerun the installer, but the only option I get is to install the instruments and loops, so I installed it.

Same thing happened.

What can I do?

Should I just drop the application in the trash and try to reinstall it that way?

EDIT: when I get the error message and I hit 'report' this is the error...

Crashing

The same thing is happening to me -- I just installed ilife 08 on my MacBook Pro 15" Intel Core Duo -- and garage band just crashes away -- I have no idea what to do.:confused:
Help?

I have a brand new 20" iMac 24 running Leopard when I click on GarageBand '08 a dialog box appears saying "Initializing..." and I have to do a force quit. Any suggestions on what I can do to get this working?

garage crash

hi, i have a new imac 20inch, and everytime i play in the window where you can add a music track, from my keystation, it crashes and i lose what i have done...any ideas?

For those of you who got stuck at initializing...

I went and deleted the /Users/myusername/Library/Caches/GarageBand...

directory.

I then went and deleted the 2 files from

/Users/myusername/Library/Preferences/com.apple.garageband.plist and
/Users/myusername/Library/Preferences/com.apple.garageband.cs

GarageBand then started without issue.
