Garage Band - can I speed up/pitchup the audio tracks like a tape recorder

I have dumped an old stereo recording two tracks into Garage band - is there a way I both speed up and change the pitch up by say a half step musically - as if i were turning the speed control on a tape recorder ?

hi jungo,
do you want to only adjust the pitch, up a semitone?
speeding the track up like a tape recorder will do this but will also speed up the track.
