garage band help-playing drum beats

hello!

will try and explain this as clearly as i can...how can i play the garage band drum beats (or any other sounds) loudly through an amp? what connection do i need? i want to use it for band practice.

do you mean, just clicking play and listening to a beat through an amp?

or do you mean, actually 'playing' drum beats with a MIDI controller...through an amp?

Either way, just run line out to a converter into your amp....

yeah, just playing it out so you can play other non-garage band instruments over it.

could u explain the 'line out' thing again? is that a cable that i can buy and can i plug it into any amp?
