i recently started using garage band and i find that when my guitar is plugged in to the mac via the USB port that even on the clean guitar settings there is a definite distortion. I can't get a truly clean sound. And after the application has been running for a while it develops a delay between the picked string and hearing the note. I have to shut down the app and restart it for it to go away. Any advice would be great.
