garage band jingles unavailable

so i can see the garage band jingles, but they're all greyed out and when i try to click one i'm asked to install the set which just launches software update, performs a regular check and will only install other updates it finds. despite this, they show up in imovie and work perfectly.

is there somewhere on the apple website i can download these or can i use the same ones from imovie?

Heres What I'd do:

1. Gety your Mac OS X disk, and put it in
2. On one of the disks there is a backup of all mac preinstalled applications
3. choose to install garage band

If you can't find your disks, I'm pretty sure there's a download link in Garageband to get the voices/loops from Apple.
