Hi there.
Our old imac (800mHz G4 imac with 512 mb RAM) is about to become the kids' computer. We would like to connect it to our wireless network, as it's in a different room to our modem. We have an old Airport Express base station.

Does anyone know if I can configure this?

Also, is there a version of garage band that will work on this setup?

Many thanks.

GarageBand '05 or GarageBand '06 will work on that setup, however they may be sluggish ('06 is slightly slow on my 1.67Ghz PowerBook G4 with 512MB under 10.3.9).

I have GarageBand version 2.0.2 on my g4 partition that has 10.3.9.

Runs fine.

Where to get it?

Thanks for the prompt replies. Any idea where I'd get one of those versions please? I've bought iLife11. I've seen places where I can download Garageband 1 - should I start there and look for upgrades?

Do you not have the original OSX install discs for the iMac? There will be a runnable version of Garageband already included with it.
