Garageband 08 not Importing MIDI from Band in a Box

Hey everybody,

I'm running iLife '08 (Garageband v.4.1.2) and whenever I try to import a MIDI file from Band in a Box, it flashes as two new tracks and then doesn't import any audio. I tried the same thing on another iMac running Garageband 5.-something and it worked just fine; importing the file as 3 new tracks (Piano, Bass and Drums) and it kept the audio. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution?
