I have "Massive" from Native instruments and am able to get garageband to recognize it and play it but....

The new track that I create has that piano sound that plays over top of the massive sound. If I just mute the piano I still hear masssive, and it records the midi inputs, but playback still puts out the piano and no massive.

How do I get an external software synth in GB without that overlay of piano?
There is no "blank" or "none" track

Thanks for any input!!

Is 'massive' like a loop? Just drag it direct from the loop pane to the tracks pane and it will generate a new track sans piano. Or I completely misunderstood what you're asking.

Native Instruments in Garageband?

Hey, hope you don't mind me spamming your thread but I am really struggling to add Massive as an AU plugin to Garageband...how did you managed to do so? My macbook pro has automatically added the component file to the correct folder but I don't see it in Garageband in the effects list...

Is Garageband not powerful enough to recognise it?
Any advice?

If you need me to be more specific please write back!

Thanks so much..

I'm new to Mac and hence Garageband you see.
