We just set up a Mac Mini in the soundroom for recording the service and sermons. I have a couple questions. I've been looking for a forum in this specific area, but have lucked out. If you guys don't know the answers would you mind pointing me to a good resource?

Ok first,

I'm using markers to mark the beginning of each song, announcements, sermon ect. When I hit "P" for the first marker the marker goes off into infinity, when I hit "P" for the next mark it only does a short marker. Each Marker after that is just a blip. Does the marker need to fill the space up until the next marker?

Second,
I want to hit record a minute or two early so I don't miss anything. But when I did that last week I cut out the beginning and slid the track to 0:00, but now all my markers are off by the amount I cut out from the beginning. Is there a way that I can lock the markers to the track so when I edit out the beginning the markers will stay in the right spot? Or do I not need to slide the track back to the beginning?

Third,
I did chapters last week and this week. Last week I exported the whole podcast to iTunes but I couldn't see the chapters anymore. I thought it would create an "album" with chapters so whoever listens to the podcast could skip forward to a particular song, or the announcements, or the sermon. Will it do this when the podcast is actually published and not just exported to iTunes?

That's all for now, we are just trying to get the recording down before we publish them. Right now I save the whole service, then I do a Save As and do just the sermon so we can put it up on our website. Any help you guys can offer will be greatly appreciated. Next week I'm figuring out how to add the logo and maybe even an opening tune or something.
