Garageband beginner

Hey guys, I'm new to garageband, and have only been recording acoustic guitar and vocals. I wanted to know if there was a way to listen to an instrumental track, while recording my voice (to properly sync up the timing and everything), without the instrumental track getting recorded as well?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)
