Garageband bug? My MIDI track - Scatter Chords - has no audio

I have been working on a Garageband project for a couple of weeks, the project has one MIDI track that is Scatter Chords. Just yesterday, that track no longer had any audio, it's just silent. It doesn't play solo'd or as part of the whole multitrack project. I've also checked earlier saved versions of the same project that included that MIDI track and the MIDI track is silent in those earlier versions too. The audio looks like it is still there, meaning the green block of audio is still there with the volume markers and automation. But no sound. Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm running Garageband 10.2.0 on a MacBook Pro with El Capitan OSX. Thanks.
