Hey folks, this is my first post here, (actually my first post ever) so please accept all apologies for any newbie-esq actions I might make. And if I'm not posting in the most relevant forum, please direct me to a more appropriate one.
Problem: I'm writing some music in Garageband '08 and when I lay down drum tracks I'm blindly pressing keys to find the perfect drum sound, or high-hat, or snare, etc. I would imagine there is a listing somewhere that describes the sound produced by each piano key. For example: B0, F1, G1, A1, B1, and B5 all seem to sound like a simple drum sound. I'd make the dang list myself but there are six different drum kits, and 88 keys on a keyboard and I don't think I have enough paper to write them all down. Is anyone aware of the list I'm searching for, and could you tell me where to find it?
