Garageband file can't be deleted from desktop

I recently was playing with garageband and somehow there is a file saved to my desktop named My Song 2.band. I have tried moving it to the trash and it says it can not be deleted. Also if I try to move it somewhere else on the desktop or to a new folder it does nothing. Any suggestions please, it will not go away. Thanks

Did you try restarting your Mac?

You can't empty the Trash or move a file to the Trash
