I was on my iPod touch 5G today, and I saw on the app store that GarageBand was free. I have never purchased it, and the iPod was setup last Christmas. None of the other apps were free. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, apple announced last week that GarageBand would be free for all iOS users.
