New to this and can’t figure it out. When I tap a note on say the virtual bass guitar fretboard, it will let it ring out while I keep my finger on it. But as soon as I lift up it stops. However I want to repeat the same note and let it ring out between each strum, but I can’t repeat the note without lifting my finger to tap it again. Is there a setting or workaround for this, to let it continue to ring even if I let go?

You can either:

- use a sustain pedal (i am not going to explain here how to attach a sustain pedal to an iPad as it is a different topic altogether)

OR

- instead of selecting the Bass or Guitar instrument, select the Keyboard, then when you select the type of Keyboard sound go down to Other and select your Bass or Guitar. The keyboard layout does have a sustain button which you can lock if you wish. The downside is that you will have to play the Bass or Guitar on a keyboard as opposed as to a fretboard.
