I have a late 2007 iMac with Leopard 10.5.7, 2.4 GHz processor and 4 GB Ram.
I have tried reinstalling, deleting preferences, starting up as another user, deleting cache, repairing permissions, making sure fonts were not an issue, moving the application out of my home folder, checking to make sure I had the right plugins in the quicktime folder, and i'm still only getting the initializing window for awhile and then it quits unexpectedly. I looked in Console and it says:
GarageBand[3555]: Invalid IFPkgRelocatedPath found in /Library/Receipts/GarageBandFactoryContent.pkg/Contents/Info.plist
GarageBand[3555]: Invalid IFPkgFlagDefaultLocation found in /Library/Receipts/GarageBandFactoryContent.pkg/Contents/Info.plist
[0x0-0x5d05d].com.apple.garageband[3555]: /Applications/GarageBand.app/Contents/MacOS/bomread: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable
and that last one is repeated 102 times
is there anything else i can do?????
