Garageband in RMB

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has experience using Garageband with the RMB. Like many, I'm sort of scared off by the ominous intimations of the Underpowered Device, but I was wondering how bad it really is. I'm looking to get a RMB for, like, 90% email/surfing/MSOffice stuff, but I do want to have the option to do some light audio recording with a Focusrite 2i2 interface if necessary. Note, JUST recording, not mixing. I mix on my iMac. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I use GarageBand on my rMB to record over USB from a Behringer X-32 Digital Mixer and it works just fine.

awesome, thank you! I recorded a whole album on my old 2008 white macbook, I figure it's at least as good as that. Thanks very much!
