So i've had my MBP for about a month now. My brother asked me to download a program (fruity loops) for his windows PC. When he came over to get it, he asked did Macs have any programs that can compare. I cracked open Garageband (for the first time), and we were both amazed. He was even more amazed that it came free with my Mac. I'm now making me some snazzy ringtones:).

Dude, me too! I just got bored, popped it open and had a blast. But now im trying to figure out how to make my song an mp3 to send to my phone. Do you have any ideas?

Don't know how to make an MP3, or don't know how to make an MP3 your ringtone?

For the first one, use GarageBand's Export To Itunes Feature, I'm pretty sure that compresses it. If not, then use iTunes again to compress it.

For the second one, what phone do you have?
