Hi everyone.
Im having trouble triggering an on midi yamaha psr gx76 garangeband.
Im using a cheap $10 cable direct to laptop. I have in plugged in the correct way, in cable to out.
Garageband will recognise a midi input and in applictions/utilities/audiomidistup a usb midi device shows as active. If i click the arrows a yellow light appears. Ive tried installing what yamaha drivers i could find.
Im wondering is it the cable or drivers for the keyboard? Ithink i had a different cable in the past where it worked.
Options as i can see are
1. buy a better cable
2. im am picking an audio interface for guitar i could splash out an extra $20 and get one with midi support and maybe that will sold the issue?
