I was just browsing the apple site and I noticed garageband jampacks, I was just wondering when they came out because I don't remeber any big annoucements. It actually looks pretty cool to me

Jam Pack 2

I own GarageBand Jam Pack 2 (Remix Tools), and it's pretty cool. However, it has more than its share of beats (1300+) and not enough melody loops. The thinking is you'll make your own with the included synth instruments, but I was still dissappointed.

EDIT: Oh, and btw, Jam Pack 1 (discontinued) cam out in January 2004 alongside GarageBand 1, Jam Packs 2 and 3 came out in fall 2004 alongside Logic 7 (fancy GarageBand), Jam Pack 4 came out in January 2005 alongside GarageBand 2, and Jam Pack 5 came out in January 2006 alongside GarageBand 3 and re-packaged versions of the previous three Jam Packs.

lol we'll now I definitly feel like an idiot, I've just never seen them before. Seems like a cool concept if I really got into garageband.

Are these the same Jam Packs that you get for free with dot mac?
