GarageBand linked to Soundtrack

I use Soundtrack that came with FinalCut Express HD for my audio editing. I no longer need to use GarageBand and since deleted the app but now I'm wondering if I can delete the GarageBand App Support folder with all of the loops in it.

Does Soundtrack use GarageBand's loops? or can I safely delete all of GarageBand's files and still have Soundtrack run properly?

Bizarrely, since i went over to FCE, all my Garageband loops have disappeared completely from the app but not the folder, but i guess that's just something wrong with my system.

I think Soundtrack has its own copies of the loops but don't quote me on that- it's weird from where i'm sitting... I have to open Soundtrack to filter through my Garageband loops
