It's weird, there are two of every loop in my garageband loops panel. Anyone know how to remedy this?

Does this apply? :)

If not, when you use the loops, does one not work? If so, it'll ask you to reindex your loops, follow the prompts and everything'll be hunky dory in no time.

Alternatively, use Spotlight to find the duplicates. Sometimes new versions of Garageband reinstall loops so you get two folders full of the same thing. Removing one and then reindexing usually solves this though. :)

OK yeah, for some reason I had am Audio folder in my /Library/ folder with the duplicate loops in there. Deleted that and all was peachy (If I deleted the loops from /Library/Application Support/GarageBand/ I'd get an error saying no loops were installed).

Hey, thanks for that. I just installed the new iLife and also had duplicates. I deleted the same folder and now everything seems fine again.
