Hey guys, i just started playing Bass again in a band with a few of my buddies and to be honest with you... or drummer really sucks. It is a church/worship band, and the drummer is like 16 or so, but i want to find something to help him out. My idea was to record a couple of practice sessions of some guitar/bass/vocal riffs and i wanted to give them to him to listen to and practice. Well, I'm a bass man and to be honest with you my guitar skills aren't where they should be, so i need to get a MIDI (USB) keyboard to record the guitar/few keyboard parts. I'm pretty familiar with the keyboard/piano, so i was going to ask... what is the best (most affordable) keyboard that i could get. I want one with a lot of range and a lot of features as well. Please leave me your opinions, i am looking to buy soon. Also, a good USB Pre-Amp to record multiple tracks at one time with like Logic or something would be cool... your suggestions there would be nice too... thanks in advance...

Edit: I also need the dimensions of the keyboard that you recommend to make sure that i have enough space on the desk of the make-shift edit suite.
