The Quicktime & Garageband audio DOES WORK via the internal mac audio driver.

Digital Performer DOES WORK using Traveler interface.
ITunes DOES WORK using Traveler interface.

The Quicktime movie audio DOESN'T work with Traveler.
Garageband audio doesn't work with Traveler...THEY BOTH USED TO!!!

All clock settings, sample rates all in proper mode.

Maybe it has to do with the version of Quicktime? It seemed like things were fine before the last Quicktime update-- January 08 version--7.3.1. I'm thinking maybe this later version screwed this up. Prior to Jan, Garageband and Traveler seemed to be working fine together.

I just downloaded the latest version of Quicktime 7.4.5... Didn't help.

I figured out the problem

What you have to do is:

1) Go into MOTU Audio Setup
2) If Optical I/O is set to NONE, then switch it to ADAT and then back to NONE.

or
3) If Optical I/O is set to ADAT, then switch it to NONE and then back to ADAT
