Hi
All new to me but need help. Ok written and recorded song and downloaded to mp3 and uploaded. Friends can hear it and it’s done. Now I’m guessing at this point most people delete the GarageBand Original version as the mixed down version is already out there however I want to keep the original version in case I want to add or remix it. Now how do I save it? Can I down load to a hard drive so not using too much memory as I might not ever need it. If I do or can do this once I upload back to GarageBand will it look like the original with all the loops and tracks as I recorded them.

Welcome to Macrumors! Where your original Garageband files are saved depends on what you designated in your Settings. If you go to Settings > Garageband, what is the document storage location? Is it iCloud? If so you should be able to open Garageband, tap on iCloud and open your original composition. If the storage location you designated [your device] or an external drive, you can tap on either of those to open your original.
