I just got my iMac on Christmas and everything is perfect.
But i'm trying to go on GarageBand.
I click on the 'Eye' icon in the bottom left hand corner
to check out some of the beats and add them to the
time line.
I click on the Electric and then it comes up with some
beats on the right, but they're all greyed out.
I clicked on one anyway, and it came up that I need
to install recent updates, I clicked on
'Download Now' and a pop up come up saying
"Checking For New Updates" after a few minutes
it basically said there were no updates that i haven't got
aka. Everythings up to date.
I went back into GarageBand and tried again but then it came up with
'Updates Are Currently Being Downloaded'
so i left it for 4 hours whilst i went out, went back to GarageBand and it
still said the same thing.
I restarted my iMac and when back to garageband and it said
that i needed to install updates again...it does the same thing everytime.
No one has a clue what is going on.
Please help me as, GarageBand was the main reason I wanted an iMac! :(

Any help is gratefully appreciated.
Thank you. :apple:
