Perhaps what I'm hoping to do is impossible as all I've done in Garageband is record spoken podcasts. If so, I apologize for wasting your collective time.
I'm guessing there are sites where people have posted GarageBand songs, original and self-made covers, for others to hear and "improve". No amount of Googling has led me anywhere helpful.
Specifically, my 7 y/old daughter has been learning Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter but I made the mistake of teaching it to her in a key different from that used in the published sheet music. What I'm hoping to do is find someone who has entered it into G/Band, transpose it into "her" key and split the arrangement into 2 parts - her right hand plus my two. I play just well enough to (barely) handle the chords below her melody.
Yes, I could do it with pencil and staff paper but it would take forever and I'm lazy. We own 2 electronic keyboards but neither is MIDI.
Do such downloadable files exist? Where can I find them?
Thank you.
