I was using GarageBand on my 2 day old MBP just fine. But now it won't launch. It just keeps bouncing. I tried re installing the applications from the disk that it came with, but that didn't work, and Im not even sure if that included iLife on the disc...

Anyone have any ideas?

I would drag the Garageband.app/Contents/MacOS/Garageband file onto a Terminal window, then press enter and see if it gives any error.

First, check for an update. Are Garageband 5.0.2 and the iLife Support 9.0.3 installed? Try opening Garageband on another user account. If it still fails to open you may have an incompatible QuickTime plugin installed, or you may need to uninstall/reinstall Garageband. If it does launch, it could be something in your user directory that's causing it not to launch, perhaps a preferences or cache file.
