Garageband won't mixdown to export to itunes

I am using Garageband 1.1 and trying to export a song to iTunes v7.6. This worked as recently as this last weekend. Now when I tell it to Export this new song to iTunes, it won't even mixdown. It does nothing. I've made sure the Export preferences have a playlist and a composer name. Any suggestions on how to fix? Appreciate any help. Unable to find exact answer in previous threads.
