I'm trying to use garageband to record something for class. I did a google search on recording on a macbook and it said just use garageband and it should be simple. However, it's not recording anything. Anybody have any advice. My mic works as it worked in photobooth.

It helps to know exactly 'WHAT' your trying to record.

And did you check your audio input devices INSIDE garageband?
