What do you think would be the oldest/lowest tech iMac I should buy in order to use garageband?

I don't want a pre-Cambrian iMac, but I am not buying the latest one either.

How far back would you say I should go?

FWIW, I use GarageBand on the iMac G5 in my signature all the time. This mac is over 4 years old.

Although, I'd recommend you get at least an intel Mac.
