Garmin and Macs

I've had a Garmin GPS unit for about 2 years. When I got it there was virtually nothing in terms of software for my Mac. But I just visited Garmin's web site and it now looks as though there's lots of software available. I just downloaded BaseCamp - does anyone use this software, and if so where do you get your maps?

You need to buy mac maps if there are some available.

If not, buy PC maps and convert them on a PC with MapConverter.
