Gateway LCD + Yellow Band

A gatway FPD1765 monitor just lately went crazy.

It had worked for months and months, but a couple days ago the right half of the screen a yellow band appeared. It "over" the rest of the screen. You can easily see what's behind the yellow "band". It's somewhat trasnparent, but still no fit for use.

Any ideas what I should do?

I would love to, but I can't. The monitor is at work, and I do not usually have a digital camera on me...
