:confused:Yesterday I had to get a new cable modem and now my Samsung Smart Blue Ray player will not connect to my Apple Extreme 4th gen. router automatically, I could enter the IP, Submask and Gateway numbers manually but cannot find out the gateway number for this router. Called Apple and they did not know what I was talking about and Samsung was not of any use either.
Does anyone here know what the gateway number is or if Apple calls it something else as the rep from Apple suggested?

Gateway IP address = router IP address.
(saying gateway "number" is probably what confuses people.)

Thanks for the reply and information. Now my question is why wouldn't the CSR at Apple know this, doesn't sound like a highly technical question.
Anyhow thanks both of you for your information.
