I have AT&T fiber Internet. The AT&T gateway Wi-Fi device cannot be set to bridge mode, so I disabled all of its Wi-Fi radios, and then connected my Airport Extreme (6th generation) to it and set that Airport Extreme in bridge mode.

There is a dead spot in one area of the home, so I'm thinking of getting a second Airport Extreme (6th generation) to create a roaming network. I'm thinking of connecting the second Airport Extreme to the first Airport Extreme with an Ethernet cable.

Here is my question:

I know that if I connect the second Airport Extreme to the first Airport Extreme with an Ethernet cable, the second Airport Extreme will have to be in bridge mode. But in my situation, the first Airport Extreme is in bridge mode since it is connected to the AT&T gateway router (which has no bridge mode). Will there be any problems if both Airport Extremes are in bridge mode and connected to each other?

Bridge mode simply means the device does not setup as a router with NAT, etc. Basically, it could be called Access Point mode, it bridges WiFi traffic to the wired LAN without modifying the packets.

There is absolutely no issue with multiple bridged access points. That is the correct way to do it.
