Okay, dumb! Now I'm worried he can get on my computer. Should I worry? If so, what should I do?
 
They can't do anything with your IP, except do a WHOIS lookup which would provide details of which ISP you use and a location (we're talking at a regional level of accuracy, not your address or anything personal).

This is assuming you're not serving files/vnc on open ports...
 
Through your router you may be able to release/renew the ip address. check with your ISP about release/renew, it may be as simple as unplugging your cable modem for 5 minutes.
