GB: one side on both sides

I need help.

I have a few songs that have sound different on both sides (speakers). The right side is for the voices, the other side is for the instrumental. I want to hear the instrumental side in the middle and not have to worry about hearing the voices. I want to hear music, not voices, out of both speakers, not just the left.

Please, help.

You can use Audacity to fix this. I don't recall the exact steps, but basically you import the track, then split the stereo track into two mono tracks. Next, you can either delete or mute the voices track and change the pan on the instruments track to center (vs left or right).

Or just choose to use one of the two stereo tracks in the Garageband track settings.
