Hey guys,
I have two Mac Pro 1,1, The IOgear GBU421 is plug and play on one running 10.7.2 and on the other (running 10.7.4) no bluetooth adapters will work at all. I did a fresh install of lion with no luck and I also even tried it on a snow leo partition with no luck.

Im completely stumped, I have never seen this adapter just not work on a 1,1. I tried editing the kext info plist, I tried resetting the PRAM, I tried using other peoples Kexts, ect... Then I plug it back into my mac pro at home and it works fine so I know the adapter is good it just seems that this particular mac pro does not want to run bluetooth. It does show up in the profiler as BCM92046DG-CL1ROM though.

Pref pane doesn't show up in system prefs obviously but the plist is present.

Bluetooth:

Version: 4.0.5
Supported By: Apple
Visible: No
Identifier: com.apple.preferences.Bluetooth
Location: /System/Library/PreferencePanes/Bluetooth.prefPane
64-Bit (Intel): Yes

Im so frustrated, It usually just works, what the hell is the difference between these two Mac Pro 1,1s?
