iPod gear4 icebox for 4G iPod nano...

I just bought one of these little cases for my black nano. Bit pricey at £14.99 but it's the best case I've seen so far. Trouble is, now I have it on... how the hell do I get ot back off again? It allows dust below it - and condensation too yet there appears to be no way to remove the damn thing. I'd take it back for a refund if I could only get the stupid thing off...

Anyone managed to successfully remove one of these critters yet or is my nano now stuck in a perspex coffin... I'm tempted to break it off but don't want to damage my iPod.

I got so pi$$ed off at the damn thing that I finally managed to get it off by bending the lower front part up as far as I could until the seal at the edges gave up and it popped off. It takes a lot of force! I have no finger nails left but at least my iPod is free of it's prison. The funny thing is that with it off the iPod it snaps shut and opens very easily. Stupid design if ever I saw one.

I emailed gear4 about it but not surprisingly they haven't responded. I'm taking it back for a refund today. I'll stick to my iSock in future!

how to remove it

The solution is brute force,

find someone who has long nails, slide your nails under the top, run it round the corner to the side and pop it off. this is the solution it worked for me
