seems a tad on the low side from what we’ve seen. Might check activity monitor and see if it’s doing some background tasks.

Could you wait until all the background activity is done, kill all open applications, make sure that there are no backups etc. running, turn of wifi, and then run it again? Sorry for asking so much, we are all very curios about what your results would be.

multiple cores: 7121

Here are all the 16" MBP Geekbench benchmarks, the OP numbers seem in line.
