Posted this purely for interest only. I know the scores will always vary depending on what's happening in the background. But it does seem that Catalina is going to be a decent upgrade.

Having just picked up my 8 Core MBP I thought I'd run Geekbench 4 on both OS' to see how they fair. Purely stock with no apps etc installed aside from GB4 to cut down on indexing etc wildly affecting the results

This was the rough average result of 5 runs on macOS Mojave.

Not a bad improvement considering it's only on Beta 3.

Can you look at the individual benchmarks and see what makes the biggest difference? I’m sure there will be going one or two uses cases that have been optimized and that’s why you see such an increase.
