In a completely unscientific study, I ran 32bit Geekbench in SL just before I installed Lion. Then I ran it again after lion finished indexing my hard drive.
Here's what I got:
Snow Leopard = 12058
-Integer = 10978
-Floating Point = 20301
-Memory = 3819
-Stream = 3476
Lion = 12301
-Integer = 10704
-Floating Point = 21274
-Memory = 3796
-Stream = 3498
2009 MP. 2*2.26 processors. 10 Gig Ram.
I know I should have ran it multiple times, calculated the averages, standard deviations, etc. Instead I just ran a simple before/after.
Anyone else see a difference?
