Is there somewhere that has a step by step on using Geektool? I downloaded Geektool3 and was able to cut and paste a date script from another thread. It got on the desktop ok, but I want to delete it and start from scratch.. New to Mac and have been reading daily for hours to get up to speed but this one has stumped me...
Thanks much!

Thanks miles, I think I could spend most of the day working just on this program...It seems that the shell looks different than the others have shown here. When I drag it onto the desktop and it opens, it looks different. I am wondering if its because its version 3.

Yes, a lot of people use an older version of Geektool. Most of the instructions and tutorials you see will be of an older version. I use Geektool3 myself.
