Hi guys.

I installed Geektools today and I've been playing with it a bit. Made a good looking desktop and since then my MacBook has been roasting!

I looked in Activity Monitor and was shocked to see my CPU constantly between 60-80% usage on this app alone!

I have a 2.4ghz MacBook with 4GB Ram running 10.6.1. It's got me worried a little bit, surely something is wrong here!!

I have tried restarting my MacBook and soon as I open GeekTools again in Preferences my CPU goes crazy.

Please Help!!!
:apple:

EDIT:

Ok this is crazy. I make a Geektool Script to put a CPU and RAM readout on my desktop and guess what. Geektools is now using 1% of my CPU. The minute i uncheck that particular script and quit running it, goes back to crazy ness!!!

How often is your script polling the cpu and such, if its always active, then that's the cause. Sounds like you need to revisit the script and disable it or edit it, so that it does not consume so much resources.
