My home office has started to resemble an air traffic control centre and I would like my desk space back. I need a fairly high 'box' count, but I realise now that I don't need as many monitors.
I still have one Pro so I need Mac/PC compatibility for at least one of my KVM's. And since I operate a number of 30" monitors I need Dual Link support. I've been able to turn up the Gefen KVM and the Belkin Flip DVI-D but not much else. And the only authoritative review of the Gefen I could find was a two-year-old Anandtech one and it was fairly negative. There's absolutely no way I will put up with any artifacting whatsoever. And there are no reviews for the Flip DVI-D
Are there 'zero-loss' dual link KVM's around? Has Gefen got better (or perfect) in the intervening time? What's the Belkin like? If anyone has any illuminating comments regarding DVI-D switchers I'd love to hear from you.
