According to an Apple KB article (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3246), Macs with 4 GB of system memory and the GeForce 320M will allocate a base amount of 256 MB of system memory to graphics. This is my current configuration, and my System Profiler reports 256 MB of VRAM.

Just wondering, for users running the 320M with more system memory (i.e. 8 GB), does the reported amount of VRAM increase?

If so, this might be a further reason to upgrade RAM...

Have you tried it with 8gb of rams yet? No offense of any kind I'm just curious because i remember reading somewhere that it did.

The HD3000 will use more RAM if given more system RAM, but the nVidia GPUs will not. My computer with a 9400m used 256MB before and after a RAM upgrade.
